Most of all the other beautiful things in life come by twos and threes, by dozens and hundreds. Plenty of roses, stars, sunsets, rainbows, brothers and sisters, aunts and cousins, comrades and friends - but only one mother in the whole world. ~Kate Douglas Wiggin
Lyrics / Video of Song : Doosron Ka Dukhda Door Karne wale
doosron ka dukhda door karne wale
tere dukh dur karenge ram
doosron ka dukhda door karne wale
tere dukh dur karenge ram...
kiye ja tu jag me bhalai ka kam
k tere dukh dur karenge ram
at ka hai path ye dharam ka marg
sambhal sambhal kar chalna prani
pag pag par yaha re kasauti
kadam kadam par qurbani
magar tu dawa dol na hona

doosron ka dukhda door karne wale
tera dukh dur karenge ram
kiye ja tu jag me bhalai ka kam
tere dukh dur karenge ram.........
kya tune paaya kya tune khoya
kya tera labh hai kya haani
iksa hisab karega wo ishwar
tu kyu fikar kare re prani
tu bas apna kaam kiye ja

doosron ka dukhda door karne wale

tere dukh dur karenge ram
tere dukh dur karenge ram
kiye ja tu jag me bhalai ka kam
tere dukh dur karenge ram......

apna sooch kabhi nahi hota bhagya kare to hoi

hey hey.. ganga aur jamuna ki gehri hai dhaar aage ya peeche sab ko jaana hai paar dharti kahe pukaar ke beej bichha le pyaar ke mausam beeta jaaye mausam beeta jaaye
Do Bigha Zamin (meaning "two acres of land") is 1953 Bollywood film, directed by Bengali film director Bimal Roy and star Balraj Sahni and Nirupa Roy in lead roles. The film is known for its socialist theme, and is an important film in the early parallel cinema of India and is rightly considered a trend setter.]
Like most of movies by Bimal Roy, art and commercial cinema are merged to create a movie that is still looked upon as a benchmark and paved way for future cinema makers in the Indian neo-realist movement[2] and the Indian New Wave, which began in the 1950s.
Di Bigha Zameen was the first film to win the Filmfare Best Movie Award and the first Indian film to win the International Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. In 2005, Indiatimes Movies ranked the movie amongst the Top 25 Must See Bollywood Films.
The Title Do bhigha jamin ;-
The movie got the name from a famous poem by Rabindranath Tagore, called "Dui Bigha Jomi".
In the name of the movie "Two Bigha of Land" or Two Acres of Land, Bigha or Acre is a unit of measuring land. Bigha varies from state to state. In Bengal, where the movie is based, 3 bigha is one acre (4,000 m²). Therefore, Shambhu owns only 2,700 m².
Story Plot :-
The story revolves around a farmer, Shambhu (Balraj Sahni), who has been hit badly by a famine in Bengal. The real reason of his sorrow is that the Zamindar (land owner) wants to acquire his land on the pretext that Shambhu had taken some loan from him. Shambhu has to pay back the landlord and hence moves to the city to look for some other source of money.
The most famous scene from the movie is when Shambhu pushes himself to the limit pulling a rickshaw. The rider on the rickshaw offers Shambhu more money to pull faster because he is chasing (probably) his girlfriend who is in another carriage. Shambhu can not resist the temptation, and he keeps smiling in anticipation of getting more money. However, his wealthy customer is not worried the least about the lower class' plight. In this race, rickshaw loses a wheel and Shambhu is injured.
However, through all these hardships Shambhu does not lose his righteousness, which is the moral of the movie. Shambhu's son steals money to help his father, only to be reproached by his father later. Shambhu's morality is the only thing that remains his own till the end.
The movie ends with Shambhu returning to his village, only to see his land sold and a factory being constructed over it.
Jab Bhi Yeh Dil Udaas Hota Hai Jaane Kaun Aas Paas Hota Hai
Hont Chup Chaap Bolte Ho Jab Saans Kuch Tez Tez Chalti Ho Aankhen Jab De Rahi Ho Awaazein Thandi Aanhon Mein Saans Jalti Ho Thandi Aanhon Mein Saans Jalti Ho.. Jab Bhi Yeh Dil Udaas Hota Hai Jaane Kaun Aas Paas Hota Hai
Aankh Mein Tairti Hain Tasveerein Tera Chehra Tera Khayal Liye Aaine Dekhta Hai Jab Mujhko Ek Masoom Sa Sawaal Liye Ek Masoom Sa Sawaal Liye
Jab Bhi Yeh Dil Udaas Hota Hai Jaane Kaun Aas Paas Hota Hai..
Koyi Vaada Nahi Kiya Lekin Kyon Tera Intezaar Rehta Hai Bewajeh Jab Qarar Mil Jaaye Dil Bada Beqarar Rehta Hai Dil Bada Beqarar Rehta Haii
Jab Bhi Yeh Dil Udaas Hota Hai Jaane Kaun Aas Paas Hota Hai...
